Job summary

Beacon Credit Union in Indiana is seeking a Teller to provide exceptional member service by handling cash, deposits, withdrawals, and teller transactions. You will assist with account inquiries, cross-sell Beacon products, maintain accurate records in the core system, and work with teammates to ensure smooth branch operations.

Qualifications

One to twelve months prior cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
High School Diploma or HSE.
Excellent cash handling and member service skills (outgoing!).
Extremely detail oriented.
Basic knowledge of personal computer operations and related software programs.
Ability to work as a team member.
Ability to cross-sell Beacon products and services according to member needs.

Responsibilities

Receives and processes deposits by cash or check in person, by night depository, or by mail.
Open, close and maintain consumer checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRA's and HSA's.
Responds to members' basic questions concerning their accounts and refers issues as needed.
Welcomes members, identifies cross-sell opportunities, and directs to the appropriate department.
Updates basic member account information in the core system and performs file maintenance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
