Job summary

Beacon Credit Union - Indiana is seeking a member-focused Teller/MSR to provide excellent service while handling deposits, withdrawals, and routine account actions. You will assist members with transactions, answer questions, and help promote Beacon products with a friendly, professional approach.

Your role includes balancing tills, maintaining basic member information, and supporting branch operations during standard weekday hours, with occasional weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• One to twelve months prior cashing handling and customer service experience preferred
• High School Diploma or HSE
• Excellent cash handling and member service skills (outgoing!)
• Extremely detail oriented
• Basic knowledge of personal computer operations and related software programs
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to cross-sell Beacon products and services according to member needs

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes deposits by cash or check via in person, night depository, or by mail.
• Disburses share withdrawals by cash or check. Processes coin.
• Processes loan payments and IRA or HSA contributions.
• Processes Visa payments and cash advances.
• Sells money orders and cashier's checks to members.
• Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
