TowneBank in Chesapeake, VA seeks a Member Service Specialist to open accounts, interview members, and match needs to products. You will gather data, document it accurately, and input information into the bank system, while promoting TowneBank products and providing exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year banking experience, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with high ethical standards. This on-site role includes AML compliance duties.

Formación

• At least 1 year of banking experience in a branch delivering in-person exquisite member service.
• Ability to learn new product information and promote benefits to members.
• Strong work ethic and high ethical standards in delivering financial services.
• Professional interaction with members by phone, in-person, and via written/email.
• Experience resolving member issues positively through active listening and service.
• Able to multi-task daily and learn new processes efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts.
• Interview members to assess needs and match to bank products.
• Gather data accurately and document it in the system.
• Process transaction tickets and route to teller line.
• Promote TowneBank and related products to members.
• Provide excellent member service in person and over the phone.
• Follow bank AML and BSA guidelines daily.
• Assist with audits and other duties as assigned.
