Job summary

Saco Valley Credit Union, recognized as a Best Place to Work in Maine every year, is hiring a full-time Member Service Representative II (Float) to support the Saco and Waterboro branches. You’ll be the friendly face members count on for everyday banking, account opening and support, digital banking help, and problem-solving.

You’ll float between the three branches to support operations based on business needs and work with the branch team to help members with their financial goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort using computers and learning new systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with teller transactions and account questions.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell products or services.
• Open personal, business, and IRA accounts and help members with additional services.
• Support online and mobile banking needs. Resolve member issues with professionalism and care.

What You’ll Do

Work Environment

This role is based in a branch environment and involves assisting members in person, using a computer, and moving within the branch as needed. Frequent travel between the three branches is required.
