Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union in Folsom, CA is seeking a Member Service Specialist III to join our branch team. This non-exempt role reports to the Branch Manager and focuses on accurate handling of transactions, member service, and growing trust through financial guidance.

You will open deposits and specialty accounts, provide services such as cashier’s checks and transfers, support colleagues, and contribute to a safe, efficient branch environment through adherence to policies and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of prior banking experience preferred.
• 1+ years as MSS II or teller at Golden 1 or another financial institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
• Provide Golden 1 services including cashier’s checks, money orders, and debit card issuance.
• Identify member needs and document opportunities in EnAct system.
• Maintain confidentiality of member and credit union information.
• Open deposits and specialty accounts and refer lending needs.

Education

HS Diploma or GED

2+ years experience in banker role

1+ years MSS II or teller role
