Job summary

Sikorsky Credit Union in Brookfield, CT seeks a friendly Member Service Representative to accurately process a broad range of transactions and build lasting member relationships. You will educate members on products, cross-sell services, and contribute to branch goals while delivering excellent service.

The role requires 1–2 years teller experience, a high school diploma, and licenses including NMLS, Notary Public, and CT Insurance Producer.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
1–2 years teller experience.
Knowledge of banking products and services.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

Accurately processes a broad variety of transactions while providing excellent member service in a timely manner.
Achieves branch and individual production goals established by senior management, including opening/servicing accounts and loan applications; cross-sells other Credit Union products.
Assists tellers with complex transactions as directed by Lead Teller/Branch Management.
Serves as back up to staff in different branch locations when necessary.
Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere; communicates professionally with members, co-workers, management and vendors; upholds values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity and Responsibility.
Keeps abreast of industry developments including regulation and technology; adheres to company policies and banking regulations; performs additional duties as required.
