Job summary

Sikorsky Credit Union in Connecticut is seeking a full-time Teller to deliver outstanding member service and accurately process a wide range of transactions. The role involves educating members on banking products and maintaining strong relationships across locations.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year in a financial institution, cash handling experience, and the ability to learn CU offerings, with strong communication and math skills. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience at a financial institution; cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of banking products and services; ability to learn Credit Union offerings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process a broad variety of transactions with excellent member service.
• Assess member needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Cross-sell Credit Union products and services that fit member needs.
• Serve as back up to other tellers at different branches when needed.
• Promote a positive work atmosphere; uphold core values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity and Responsibility.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes.
• Ensure adherence to policies and banking regulations.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.
