Job summary

Municipal Credit Union seeks a proactive Member Service Representative in New York to deliver exceptional member service, assess needs, and explain products across new accounts, loans, and teller transactions. You will guide members toward digital tools and ensure accurate processing within MCU policies.

Collaborate with branch leadership, uphold regulatory standards, and actively cross-sell appropriate MCU solutions while maintaining courtesy and professionalism in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Retail banking experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service and tailored financial solutions.
• Process opening of new accounts and loan applications; assist with teller transactions.
• Cross-sell MCU products/services to member needs and educate on digital banking tools.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in line with MCU policies and procedures.
• Support branch goals and participate in onboarding and coaching as needed.
