Job summary

Broadview FCU is seeking a Member Service Associate to greet members, handle transactions, and resolve inquiries with a friendly and professional approach. The role supports the Schodack Branch and other Capital East Region locations, delivering thoughtful service aligned with the credit union’s mission.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding member service to all members and visitors.
• Process financial service transactions accurately while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Detect and report fraud or irregular activities as first line of defense.
• Build member relationships by asking questions and making recommendations.
• Respond to general member inquiries about products, services, and lending.
• Promote self-service resources and digital channels.
• Participate in cross-selling campaigns and branch initiatives.
• Seek development opportunities through coaching and training opportunities.
