Job summary

ABNB Federal Credit Union in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to assist members with accounts, transactions and inquiries. You will explain products and guide members to the right services, while ensuring quality service across in-branch, phone and email channels.

This role requires 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Presents and explains Credit Union products and services to members and potential members.
• Performs routine member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and more.
• Opens and closes all types of accounts and maintains files.
• Responds to questions and resolves problems with effective listening.
• Maintains a professional and courteous attitude with members and staff.
• Supports other branches and the Contact Center as needed.
• Follows safety and security rules and completes trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
