Job summary

Northwest Federal Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Relationship Officer to educate members on products, foster relationships through outbound calls, and cross-sell services when appropriate.

The CRO completes loan applications, coordinates underwriting and disbursement, and works with Lending teams to meet monthly production goals. The role offers base pay plus monthly incentives tied to loan growth and referrals, with the incentive paid monthly in lieu of a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a consumer loan officer or equivalent.
• Experience reading and deciphering Equifax credit reports.
• Availability Mon-Fri 8:30AM–5:30PM, with evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Adherence to Consumer Lending regulations, policies and BSA compliance.
• Prior experience in a high-paced, detail-oriented role with sales goals.
• Ability to use standard office equipment and systems.
• Ability to review and analyze or interpret data and documentation.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to collaborate and be an effective team member.
• Maintain confidentiality; accuracy and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

• Outbound calling to 350+ members each month to educate on available Credit Union products and services
• Recognizes and pursues cross selling opportunities on Credit Union products and services
• Create future touch points and complete timely follow up as needed for all leads
• Complete loan applications and submit to the Consumer Lending Underwriting Team for loan decisions
• Coordinate loan disbursement with the Consumer Lending Processing Team
• Meet monthly loan production targets and closed referral goals as directed by management
• Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
