Job summary

Navigant Credit Union is seeking a Member Relationship Advisor I to deliver outstanding service to members in person, by phone, and online in Rhode Island. You will process transactions, assist with new accounts, and help members apply for loans while upholding compliance and risk controls.

In this role, you will build relationships, collaborate with branch teams, and contribute to meeting sales and service goals through thoughtful recommendations and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and online tools; banking software a plus.
• Strong communication to explain financial products clearly.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented.
• Willing to travel within the credit union's footprint.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in person, by phone, and online with everyday banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and address changes.
• Open new accounts and cross-sell products and services.
• Assist with loan applications, collect documents, and update loan status.
• Originate and close Smart Start, Cash Reserve Lines of Credit, and Personal Unsecured loans.
• Provide empathetic member support while following BSA and SAFE Act compliance.
• Collaborate with branch colleagues and business partners to deepen member relationships.
• Support sales and community engagement to meet annual goals.
