Job summary

Smart Financial Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Specialist to build relationships with current and potential members, consult on financial needs, and recommend credit union products and services to meet those needs. You will deliver a superior member experience at our branches and over the phone.

Responsibilities include account opening and maintenance, cross-selling, handling in-branch loan requests, and occasional teller duties.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience, including preparatory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interpersonal skills including courtesy, tact, trust and diplomacy; ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with current and potential members and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Handle teller duties and transactions as needed.
• Process in-branch loan requests and identify lending needs through conversations with members.
• Provide phone and written support, resolving questions and taking ownership of each call.
• Open and maintain accounts; assist with cross-selling and inquiries.
• Assist in branch sales promotion campaigns and other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.
