Job summary

Smart Financial Credit Union seeks a Relationship Specialist in Houston to build relationships with existing and prospective members, consult on their needs, and recommend credit union products and services. You will deliver a superior member experience across branches and phone interactions.

The role requires a strong sales background, ability to meet goals in a fast-paced environment, and may include teller duties. You will open and maintain accounts and support branch sales initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year up to 3 years of similar or related experience including preparatory experience.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain member accounts; proactively cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Process in-branch loan requests and identify lending needs through member conversations.
• Take teller transactions accurately and efficiently as needed.
• Provide phone and in-branch support with problem solving and issue ownership.
• Assist in planning and implementing branch sales promotion campaigns.
