Job summary

UFCU in Texas seeks a Personal Banker to serve as a trusted ambassador of our core values, delivering excellent Member service by processing transactions, answering questions, and resolving account issues of moderate complexity.

Through an interactive consultative interview process, you will identify Members’ financial needs, recommend solutions, and support them in achieving goals. You will engage in community activities and support branch operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service and working in a team environment.
• Consultative sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to Members.
• Respond and resolve member needs and service requests.
• Open consumer deposit accounts and Certificates of Deposit.
• Read and review credit reports with members.
• Process loan applications, financial transactions, and other service requests.
• Assess and anticipate member needs, and refer members to appropriate business partners.
• Provide notary and safe deposit box services.
• Assist with fraud disputes.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Host tables, participate in events, and attend Select Employer Group (SEG) events.
• Connect members with internal business partners to help problem solve.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
