Job summary

Affinity Plus in Minnesota seeks a Member Consultant for the new Lino Lakes branch to assist members across in-person, drive-thru, phone, and digital channels. You will open accounts, advise on services, and support lending and budgeting needs while promoting self-serve options.

You’ll handle transactions, educate members, and balance cash with accuracy, contributing to a high‑quality member experience in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service or professional experience working with people
• 1+ years of consumer lending experience preferred
• Ability to navigate and resolve complex issues and situations
• Ability to achieve call goals set by leadership
• Basic knowledge of credit and regulatory policy as it relates to consumer lending
• Ability to cross-sell products and services that benefit the member
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with high accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team with others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Time management to prioritize workload across the department

Responsibilities

• Open membership savings, checking, CDs, and IRAs
• Provide information and recommendations on services and products
• Assist members with lending questions and applications
• Identify member needs and recommend products and services
• Review loan documentation and ensure accuracy per policy
• Approve loans within limits or refer for higher approval
• Help members create a personal budget and reach goals
• Assist with transactions and educate on self-serve options
• Execute wire or ACH transfers, issue cards, troubleshoot issues
• Balance cash drawer and maintain currency logs
