Job summary

IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union seeks a member-focused Teller to join the East Moline, IL team, with occasional travel to support other branches. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments while delivering personalized financial guidance.

A strong service ethic and problem-solving mindset are essential. The position emphasizes accurate transactions, building member relationships and contributing to a welcoming branch experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; finance/business related education is a plus.
• Relative experience in customer support, problem solving and providing quality service preferred.
• Ability to build rapport quickly, actively listen and develop strong member relationships.

Responsibilities

• Actively listen to members to identify and educate on solutions including deposits, loans and credit cards.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and check cashing accurately.
• Respond to inquiries about accounts, services, discrepancies, balancing and feature adjustments.
• Follow cash handling and daily work documentation procedures, including balancing the cash drawer daily.
• Provide accurate financial transactions and personalized solutions to member needs.
