Job summary

IHMVCU in Galesburg, IL seeks a friendly Teller to deliver accurate financial transactions and personalized member solutions. Based at our Galesburg location, the role emphasizes building lasting relationships and guiding members through available products with a high standard of service.

You will process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and check cashing, balance cash drawer daily, and respond to account inquiries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance, business or related field is a plus.
• Experience in customer support, problem solving and providing quality service is preferred.
• High integrity and commitment to exceptional member service.

Responsibilities

• Actively listen to members' needs to identify and educate on solutions such as deposits, loans, and credit cards.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to inquiries about account operation, services access, discrepancies, balancing and reconciling, and feature adjustments.
• Follow cash handling and daily work documentation procedures, including balancing the cash drawer daily.
• Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour. Final compensation determined by experience, skills, education, certifications and internal pay equity.
