Job summary

OnPath Federal Credit Union is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to minimize delinquency risk and maximize recovery while delivering excellent member service. This on-site role involves negotiating payment arrangements, documenting actions, and coordinating with recovery partners to protect member interests.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of related collection experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two to five years of similar or related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic database tools.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and coordinate payment arrangements with members.
• Maintain accurate records of actions and communications in the collection system.
• Initiate and follow up on claims, filings, and recovery activities with attorneys and vendors.
• Review accounts for due diligence and recommend charge-offs per policy.
• Monitor deceased accounts and estate claims to maximize recovery.
• Coordinate with Recovery Agents to repossess collateral and ensure timely updates.
• Comply with laws, credit union policies, and protect member confidentiality.
