Job summary

North Island Credit Union in La Mesa, CA is hiring a Full Time Financial Service Representative. You will work at a branch to provide sales and service, assist with new accounts, loans, and cross-sell Credit Union products to meet members’ needs.

You’ll open and service accounts including basic Business, Fiduciary, IRAs and HSAs; promote digital services; and help drive member satisfaction with timely, accurate responses. Work week includes varied hours.

Qualifications

• Strong communication (written and verbal) required.
• Provide excellent member service both internally and externally.
• Proven sales and service results.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop member relationships by providing high-quality sales and service to new and existing members.
• Assist members with opening new accounts and electronic services such as online/mobile banking.
• Open, fund and service accounts including basic business, fiduciary, IRAs and HSAs.
• Originate and fund consumer loans with proper documentation and follow-up.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services to meet member needs.
• Develop and maintain a follow-up program to expand relationships and increase satisfaction.
• Attend onsite events and support business development initiatives.
