Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of financial service industry experience; or 2 years of relevant finance-related experience; or 6 months of SDCCU member facing work experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of relationship management; ability to identify and refer products to meet members’ financial needs.
• Strong listening, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional member experience with a positive and professional attitude.
• Use relationship skills to understand member financial needs and provide suitable solutions.
• Identify and refer products/services to meet member needs or connect to a specialist.
• Accurately record and track all member interactions, referrals, and sales.
• Stay updated on policies, procedures, and new products/services.
• Prepare documentation for new accounts and loans, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Ensure loan files are complete and accurate.
• Follow up with members on loan applications and processes.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with new and existing members.
• Collaborate with staff to achieve branch goals and contribute to performance.
• Participate in campaigns, outreach events, and business development activities.
• Adhere to AML, BSA, OFAC, CTR, and MISP compliance.
