Qualifications

• Above average communication skills; verbal and written.
• Must successfully complete financial counselor certification program within first 6 months in position.
• Above average problem solving skills with strong ownership of the member experience.
• Self-motivated, trustworthy and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to speak to various sizes groups.
• Able to lead by example.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with members via multiple channels and discusses banking needs and financial goals.
• Meets with members for transactions and complex financial needs.
• Represent Navigator Credit Union positively in the Community.
• Teach members to manage money wisely and set financial goals.
• Provide tips to build credit scores and budgeting strategies.
• Offer CU products and services to grow member relationships.
