Job summary

UT Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Consultant to assist members with financial transactions, answer questions, and promote relevant products and services. You will deliver prompt, professional service to members and support internal departments and branches.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wire transfers, issuing debit cards, and handling card/ATM transactions while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) required.
• 6 months to 2 years of related experience in customer/member service, financial institution, or sales/retail environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintains the highest standards of ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly, responsive service to all members and cultivates relationships with members and coworkers.
• Cross-sells appropriate products and services to benefit the member and achieve referral/sales goals.
• Maintains basic knowledge on all credit union products, services, policies and procedures.
• Manages complaints, resolves problems, and answers questions regarding products and services.
• Performs a variety of transactions: deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, loan payments, debit/credit card actions, and more.
• Conducts basic vault functions and daily cash balancing as applicable.
