Job summary

In-Shape Fitness in Vallejo, CA seeks a Member Experience Ambassador to be the heartbeat of the club, connecting with members, guests, and teammates while delivering exceptional service and guidance on membership options.

You’ll support FitStart onboarding, help members use the mobile app, provide tours, and promote programs aligned with individual goals. This role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Passionate about fitness and helping others in their fitness journey.
• Basic computer skills and ability to participate in trainings.
• Willing to work flexible shifts: evenings, weekends, holidays.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and prospective members, explain membership options and select best fit.
• Support FitStart onboarding and familiarize new members with the club and equipment.
• Assist members with downloading and using the mobile app.
• Give club tours and highlight amenities, programs, and current promotions.
• Stock/sell/recommend retail items aligned with members' goals.
• Provide excellent customer service via in-person or phone interactions and process membership changes.
• Foster a welcoming, motivating community and uphold In-Shape Clean Approach.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and assist in other club duties as needed.
