Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking a dedicated Member Experience Ambassador to be the heartbeat of our Napa clubs. You will greet members, present membership options, support the FitStart program, and help new members adopt our app and facilities.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Passionate about fitness and helping others in their fitness journey.
Basic fitness and sales experience.
Excellent communication and listening skills both in-person and phone.
Demonstrated customer service experience: friendly, outgoing, and approachable disposition.
Willing and able to work a flexible shift: evenings, weekends, and holidays.
CPR certification or ability to pass CPR within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Get to know each member/prospective member/guest and share In-Shape’s fitness philosophy.
Support new members through the FitStart program and familiarize them with the club.
Assist members with downloading the mobile app and getting started.
Give club tours and highlight amenities, activities, programs, and current promotions.
Stock/Sell/Recommend retail items that support members’ fitness goals.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing member needs and updating memberships.
Build a welcoming, motivating In-Shape community and exceed expectations with every interaction.
Follow In-Shape Clean Approach and maintain safety policies.
Assist in other club areas as needed and monitor pool/slide when applicable.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
