Job summary

Empeople Credit Union is seeking a Member Relationship Officer (Teller) to deliver exceptional member experiences in a branch lobby. You will handle transactions, educate members on digital services, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining confidentiality and security.

The role requires weekend availability and adherence to regulatory policies, with opportunities for notary services and participation in financial wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge Of: Customer Service, Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Ability To: Operate a PC with Microsoft Office and access member accounts.
• Work weekends as required.
• Provide Notary services and ensure accuracy of transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide concierge-style service in the branch lobby.
• Educate members about products and self-service options like digital banking and remote deposit capture.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other account servicing requests.
• Resolve member inquiries within authority or escalate to Branch Operations Manager as needed.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and adhere to policies and balancing procedures.
• Promote financial wellness programs to eligible members and refer as appropriate.
