Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. in Overland Park, KS is seeking a front-line supervisor to assist management with the supervision of associates, payroll, and driving member service.

You will guide teams in daily tasks, provide excellent member support, and help process memberships and purchases in a fast-paced retail club environment. Qualifications

• 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (cash register) AND 6 months customer service experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Assist management with supervision of associates and recruiting, hiring, scheduling and training.
• Provide member service by informing members about membership types, programs and benefits; process memberships and upgrades.
• Handle front-end operations, operate registers or self-checkout, and assist with transactions and returns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Open Door Policy, and participate in coaching and evaluating associates.
