Job summary

YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City in Midwest City is seeking a front desk associate to serve members and guests, answer calls, handle registrations and payments, and provide program information.

Requirements include CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid (training provided), must be 18+, ability to lift 30 pounds, and strong customer service skills in a busy community environment. Starting wage is $10.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid. (Training provided by the Y, if needed)
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have strong verbal interpersonal and communication skills, experience in a service-oriented environment, computer skills and accuracy.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide member services including tours, answer and direct phone calls, guest registration, provide program information, accept payment/cash register/receipts, schedule appointments, rent lockers, stock and distribute towels.
• Serve as liaison between members and program supervisors.
• Handle and solve member inquiries, concerns and complaints.
• Monitor facility as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• Accept and demonstrate the positive character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
• Attend Scheduled Staff Meeting.
• Stay off all personal electronic items; cell phones, i pads,
• Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors and volunteers.
