Job summary

YMCA in Oklahoma City is seeking a part-time Member Services Associate to help members with sales, tours, registration, and general inquiries. You will handle payments, input data into the computer system, issue membership cards, and assist with program information and scheduling.

The role requires strong communication, a service mindset, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. CPR/First Aid certification and ongoing training are required, with typical daytime hours Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must stay current in CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid, renewed annually (training provided).
• Must complete required Redwood trainings within 30 days of hire and renewed annually.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong verbal interpersonal and communication skills; service experience; computer skills and accuracy.
• Able to lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide member services such as membership sales, tours, answer and direct phone calls, guest registration, program information and registration, input information into computer, accept payments, schedule appointments, issue membership cards, rent lockers, stock towels.
• Serve as liaison between members and program supervisors.
• Handle and resolve member inquiries, concerns and complaints.
• Monitor facility as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate the positive character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings.
• Stay off personal electronic items while on shift.
• Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors and volunteers.
