Qualifications

• Experience: Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED; NMLS license with annual required training.
• Interpersonal skills requiring trust, diplomacy, courtesy and tact.
• Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and time management.
• Detail oriented with problem solving, research, critical thinking and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with members using service and sales skills to identify needs and recommend products and services.
• Assist members with memberships, accounts, and basic lending needs including loans and various accounts.
• Review member finances and offer education and solutions, promoting credit union products.
• Open new accounts/loans, prepare documents accurately, and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Respond to member questions/concerns; provide timely solutions; maintain knowledge of products for cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain accuracy and complete tasks; support other departments as needed.
