Chief Financial Credit Union in Dearborn invites you to join our team as a Member Service Representative I. This in-branch role focuses on accurate transactions, friendly service, and helping members feel confident about their finances.

You’ll assist members in person and by phone, open accounts, and introduce products and digital tools. The position is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating late nights plus Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• One month to one year of similar or related experience, ideally in a credit union, bank, retail, cash-handling, or customer-service environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable handling cash and completing financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve members in the branch, by telephone, and through other assigned service channels.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Open, close, and maintain consumer accounts in accordance with Credit Union procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Answer routine account questions and help members resolve service concerns within your level of authority.
• Listen beyond the initial request to understand what the member may need and recommend appropriate products, services, and digital solutions.
• Educate members about account features, online and mobile banking tools, and other resources that can make managing their finances easier.
• Balance your cash drawer and complete end-of-day procedures accurately and on time.
• Protect member accounts and information by following verification, security, confidentiality, fraud-prevention, and internal-control procedures.
