Job summary

Greater Somerset County YMCA in Somerset County, New Jersey, seeks a friendly Member Service Representative at the Somerset Hills branch to serve members and guests with prompt, courteous handling and uphold the Y's welcoming culture. This is an on-site weekend part-time role.

Requirements include at least three years in member/customer service, a high school diploma, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. Bilingual and fundraising experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least three years of member/customer service or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn database program.
• Excellent speaking, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with multi-tasking, problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Team player who is flexible, reliable and adaptable.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and self-accountable.
• Fundraising experience a plus.
• Bilingual and multicultural experience a plus.
