Job summary

Lookout Credit Union seeks a frontline Guide at our Pocatello branch to be the primary member contact, handling transactions and account openings, while promoting digital banking solutions to enrich members’ financial lives.

You will explain products, assist with loan inquiries, balance cash drawers, and stay informed about all services in a fast-paced branch environment. Strong communication and discretion are essential.

Qualifications

Experience: 1 month to 12 months in a similar or related role.
Education: A high school education or GED is required.
Interpersonal skills: strong communication, tact, and discretion in confidential matters.
Other skills: basic computer skills including email and word processing; ability to type by touch.

Responsibilities

Process member financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments) as directed.
Open new accounts via Online Account Opening; maintain and update accounts; promote deposit products and IRAs.
Promote and assist with digital banking solutions (mobile wallet, RDC, e-statements, bill pay, Zelle, cards).
Answer loan inquiries, quote rates/terms, educate on credit history/score, and refer to lending/wealth teams as needed.
Maintain knowledge of all products and services; share financial education with members and team members.
Balance cash drawer accurately and daily; ensure discrepancies remain within policy.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
