Job summary

Del Norte Credit Union is seeking a part-time BXP Specialist at the Cerrillos Branch in Santa Fe, NM. You will assist members with deposits, loan payments, and other account services, maintaining cash and answering product inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.

You will balance cash daily, promote education on credit union solutions, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting a team-driven branch environment. Strong customer service and cash handling experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of similar or related experience; strong cash handling and customer service.
• One year to three years of similar or related experience for Level II; minimum two years teller experience.
• Education: high school diploma or GED.
• Interpersonal: confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy in communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with financial needs in a professional, friendly manner.
• Demonstrate knowledge of core system, including loan and deposit platforms.
• Process deposits, loan payments, cashiers checks, and issuance of gift/travel cards; close accounts and balance cash daily.
• Greet members to establish rapport and direct to appropriate area.
• Promote needs-based education to live the credit union's mission and cross-sell products.
• Comply with regulations and complete mandatory compliance courses.
• Work effectively in a team and perform related duties as assigned.
