Maine State Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Member Experience Specialist in our Augusta, ME branch. You will be the first point of contact, delivering exceptional service while processing a range of transactions and helping members achieve financial goals.

You'll balance cash, educate customers on products, and open accounts, all within a community-focused culture emphasizing trust and service. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 to 12 months of cash handling, customer service, retail banking, or related experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding member service with every interaction.
• Process member transactions: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments.
• Balance cash drawers and maintain transaction accuracy.
• Educate members on products and services to meet financial needs.
• Open accounts and assist with financial solutions.
• Protect members from fraud by verifying identification and recognizing suspicious activity.
• Research account and transaction questions to provide timely resolutions.
• Support branch outreach and participate in community events.
