Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking an MSR to acquire and enrich member relationships while delivering exceptional service. You will balance cash, promote products, and profile members to uncover opportunities.

Eligible candidates bring strong sales and interpersonal skills, along with accuracy and computer proficiency. The role includes outbound calls, loan processing, and community involvement with a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of similar or related experience or 12 months in a successful MSA role with knowledge of all credit union accounts and products with proven ability to handle a wide variety of functions quickly and accurately.
• High energy and sales ability and interpersonal skills to represent the credit union in a positive and professional manner.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize work assignments and organize work efficiently. Must demonstrate good time management skills to meet established deadlines.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with related computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.
• Proven relationship building skills and techniques.
• Must be self-motivated, exercise sound judgment, and be able to work independently
• Ability to maintain composure, and problem solve as they arise.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationship.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the Credit Union Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision.
• Demonstrates a positive member service focus at all times, greeting members and guests with a smile and eye contact.
• Demonstrates teamwork in interactions with coworkers and in duties.
• Ensures confidentiality of member information.
• Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Sales - responsible for achieving high sales expectations by promoting all retail products and services.
• Acts as part of a cohesive team with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ensures confidentiality of member account records and information.
• Profiles each member to uncover opportunities for additional business.
• Structures loan applications, works with underwriters, adheres to lending policies.
• Makes weekly outbound sales calls to members to increase sales.
• Balances cash drawer daily and follows cash handling policies.
• Builds member relationships by meeting financial needs with GreenState products.
• Participates in promotions and departmental activities.
• Sales of loan protection products.
• Knowledge of federal regulations for deposits.
• Performs vault duties including cash ordering and balancing.
• Participates in community service or events.
