Job summary

GreenState Credit Union is seeking a member service representative to acquire, expand, and enrich member relationships while delivering exceptional service. You will balance a cash drawer, perform MSR duties, and drive sales through personalized member interactions.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in MSR, strong sales aptitude, and excellent accuracy. A High school diploma or GED is required; proficiency with MS Office and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of similar or related experience or 12 months in an MSR role.
• High energy and sales ability and interpersonal skills to represent the credit union in a positive and professional manner.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize work assignments and organize work efficiently. Must demonstrate good time management skills to meet established deadlines.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with related computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.
• Proven relationship building skills and techniques.
• Must be self-motivated, exercise sound judgment, and be able to work independently
• Ability to maintain composure, and problem solve as they arise.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationship.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties in line with GreenState's service standards.
• Builds member relationships by identifying financial needs and recommending GreenState products.
• Makes weekly outbound sales calls to members.
• Balances cash drawer daily and adheres to cash handling policies.
• Maintains confidentiality of member information and accounts.
