Job summary

Power Wellness is hiring a Part-Time Member Services Associate at the Chelsea Wellness Center in Chelsea, MI. You will greet members, handle inquiries, enroll new members, and support daily center operations during mornings and day shifts.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, sales of memberships and services, accurate cash handling, and teamwork across departments. A friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication are essential to help our community stay healthy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior customer service or sales experience preferred.
• CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service desk operations: opening/closing, phones, POS, guest registrations, passes, check-ins, feedback, lost & found.
• Promote and effectively sell memberships and all ancillary services including personal training, massage therapy, medically-integrated programs, and nutrition services.
• Schedule all appointments via core business software (Compete), including reminder phone calls, cancellations and notifying associates of appointments per policy.
• Knowledge of opening/closing procedures, including balancing drawers, credit card/check policies and use of cash drawer.
• Enroll members via contract, explaining membership, obtaining signature and payment and providing member handbook.
• Effective radio communication with all departments as needed.
• Work towards achieving established satisfaction metrics such as Secret Shops and Member Survey scores as it relates to member and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain an average of 5 working shifts per month to ensure ability to perform job.
• Must be able to stand for length of shift (generally 3-6 hours at a time).
• Other duties as assigned.
