Job summary

Power Wellness is seeking a friendly and results-driven Member Services Associate to join The Health and Fitness Center at Washtenaw Community College. You will greet members, answer questions, process enrollments, and help with program information, ensuring a welcoming, accurate checkout and sign-up experience.

In this part-time role, you will balance customer service with sales, promote ancillary services, and coordinate appointments using the center's software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
• 2-3 years of sales, reception and computer skills preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service desk interactions, opening/closing, check-in, and info provision.
• Promote and sell memberships and ancillary services.
• Schedule appointments via core software and manage reminders.
• Balance drawers and handle credit card/check policies.
• Enroll members via contracts and provide member handbook.
• Maintain radio communication with departments as needed.
• Aim for satisfaction metrics and maintain a 5-shift average per month.
