Job summary

Power Wellness in Lake Forest is seeking a Part-Time Member Services Associate to deliver exceptional member service, enroll memberships, and promote fitness offerings. The role involves desk operations, scheduling, and maintaining accurate payments and passes.

The position emphasizes customer relations, sales of ancillary services, and reliable attendance with the ability to stand for 3–6 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum 6 months related experience or training preferred.
• 2-3 years of sales, reception and computer skills preferred.
• CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; positive service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service to members, guests and prospects at the service desk.
• Promote and sell memberships and ancillary services (personal training, massage, nutrition, etc.).
• Schedule appointments via Compete and manage reminders, cancellations, and policy adherence.
• Handle opening/closing procedures and cash handling responsibilities.
• Enroll members via contracts, explain memberships, obtain signatures and payments.
• Maintain effective radio communication with departments as needed.
• Support achieving satisfaction metrics and member surveys.
• Maintain an average of 5 shifts per month and stand for 3–6 hours per shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
