Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a Customer Experience Sales Representative to present the Y to prospective members by phone, crafting personalized sales experiences that match needs with membership options and programs. You will communicate with a cause-driven voice to connect prospects to the Y’s mission.

You will work with Brand Experience leadership to meet sales goals, conduct outbound calls, recruit members, and guide callers through online registration, ensuring a high-value member

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Previous customer service, sales or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers and phones.

Responsibilities

• Present YMCA to prospective members by phone and create personalized sales experiences.
• Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals set by leadership.
• Make outbound calls to sell memberships and programs.
• Recruit prospective members and rejoin lapsed members.
• Schedule center tours and follow up with prospects.
• Adhere to YMCA policies on membership and program sales.
• Guide callers through website and online registration.
• Register participants over the phone and perform clerical tasks.
• Build rapport with prospects across socio-economic levels.
• Use systems and resources to maximize sales experience.
• Present promotions aligned with interests to create urgency.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and report objections.
