Allegan Credit Union, a division of Ignite Credit Union, seeks a Member Experience Advisor in Fennville, MI to deliver exceptional member experiences in-person and digitally. Build trusted relationships, guide members on accounts and loans, and promote financial solutions aligned with their needs.

You will educate members on digital tools, support daily branch operations, and collaborate to reach sales and service goals while upholding credit union standards and security.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a financial institution or sales-focused environment.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Engage members as the first point of contact, building relationships and uncovering needs.
• Open new memberships, checking, savings and specialty accounts, ensuring policy compliance.
• Conduct consumer loan interviews, process applications, and recommend products like personal and auto loans.
• Proactively identify cross-sell opportunities and refer products benefiting the member.
• Educate members on digital banking and self-service tools, promoting adoption of new tech.
• Maintain and balance the branch vault, ensuring security and compliance.
• Support branch operations including opening/closing and cash management.
• Collaborate with team to meet and exceed branch sales and service goals.
