USC Credit Union is seeking a Universal Member Support Specialist to join its Member Experience team in Los Angeles. The role provides on-site operational and staffing support across branch locations while delivering an exceptional member experience.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in customer service or banking, with strong knowledge of lending products and banking regulations. Industry benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of customer service, sales, retail banking, or financial institution experience.
• Extensive knowledge of consumer lending products and services.
• Familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation E, and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proven multitasking and relationship-building abilities in sales or service.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills.
• Knowledge of credit union service standards and loan operations and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site coverage to maintain staffing continuity across branches.
• Maintain flexibility to work across shifts and locations as needed.
• Conduct branch visits to ensure compliance with policies and controls.
• Perform audits of cash drawers, vaults, and member documents.
• Coach staff to improve member engagement and operational effectiveness.
• Support Digital Experience, Account Services/EFT, and Call Center operations when needed.
• Report audit findings and issues to management for follow-up.
• Uphold USC Code of Ethics and empower employees.
