Job summary

USC Credit Union in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced part-time Member Relationship Specialist II for its fast-paced Call Center. This on-site role reports to the Call Center Manager and focuses on building relationships with members, analyzing data, and offering customized solutions using in-depth knowledge of USC CU products and services.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of financial institution sales/service, knowledge of related regulations, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in financial institution sales/service.
• Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Patriot Act, Regulation CC and funds availability.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet performance, service, and sales goals.
• Develop and deepen member relationships through consultative service.
• Triage calls using active, reflective, and empathic listening to assess needs.
• Process member transactions via telephone accurately and timely.
• Handle deposits/withdrawals, loan payments, new account applications, and lending applications.
• Apply sound lending practices and judgment in recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.
• Occasionally back up other USC CU locations.
