Job summary

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
Minimum 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
2-3 years of sales, reception and computer skills preferred.
CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor.
Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee service desk operations including opening/closing, phones, POS, guest registration and fees, and check-in of guests/members.
Promote and sell memberships and ancillary services (personal training, massage, nutrition programs).
Schedule appointments via Compete, including reminders and cancellations.
Balance drawers and ensure proper credit card and cash handling procedures.
Enroll members via contracts, collect signatures and provide the member handbook.
Maintain clear radio communication with departments as needed.
Work toward satisfaction metrics such as Secret Shops and Member Surveys.
Maintain an average of 5 working shifts per month.
Must be able to stand for 3–6 hours per shift.
Other duties as assigned.
