Job summary

Power Wellness is seeking a Member Services Associate to provide exceptional service at the front desk of The Centre powered by Phelps Health. The role includes selling memberships, handling signups, and assisting guests and members.

The position emphasizes guest satisfaction, efficient use of the Compete software, and accurate cash handling. CPR/AED certification is required within 90 days of hire and a professional, team-oriented demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
Minimum 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
2-3 years of sales, reception and computer skills preferred.
CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner.
Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee service desk operations, including opening/closing, phones, registrations and fee handling.
Promote and sell memberships and ancillary services.
Schedule appointments via core software and manage reminders.
Balance cash drawers and follow card/check policies.
Enroll members via contracts, obtain signatures and provide handbooks.
Maintain radio communications with departments as needed.
Contribute to member satisfaction metrics and surveys.
Maintain an average of 5 shifts per month.
Stand for shifts of 3–6 hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.
