Job summary

VASA Fitness in Illinois is looking for a Member Experience Lead (MEL) to drive guest-to-member conversion, coach MES, and elevate the club experience.

The MEL will train at a neighboring market before launching the new location, leading by example and partnering with the General Manager to hit staffing and sales goals.

This hourly role offers commission eligibility and a strong team culture focused on unity, energy, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of customer service in a retail, restaurant or in-person based service industry.
• 3+ years leading operational teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Build relationships by establishing trust quickly and positively influencing others.
• Personal interest in health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition.
• CPR Certified within the first 30 days of employement.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Promote the UPLIFT culture across MES.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, and training of MES staff.
• Coach MES and ensure a world-class guest experience.
• Develop and execute sales plans to revive in-club shop.
• Collaborate with GM on staffing, schedules, and interviews.
• Maintain club operations and ensure facilities are clean and safe.
