Job summary

Fairborn YMCA is seeking a part-time Member Services Clerk to greet members, process sign-ups, and handle inquiries at the front desk. This role emphasizes friendly service and accurate transactions on weekends.

You will assist with tours, registrations, and basic office tasks while upholding safety guidelines. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, and have customer service experience; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year or more of customer service experience.
• A 2-year degree or applicable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service at the Member Services Desk.
• Process membership sales, changes, cancellations, and registrations accurately.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective members and guests.
• Handle monetary transactions and reconcile them properly.
• Maintain up-to-date member information and follow safety guidelines.
• Communicate concerns or suggestions to supervisor and improve services.
