Members Cooperative Credit Union in Cloquet, MN is seeking an Engagement Specialist (Teller) to be the first point of contact for our members and deliver an exceptional member experience.

You will process deposits, withdrawals, payments and transfers, educate members on products and services, build relationships, and strive to meet sales and service goals while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years in a customer service/sales oriented role; financial experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with all levels of financial understanding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to deliver outstanding member experience.
• Comfortable interacting with the public throughout the workday and de-escalating upset members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, delivering an exceptional experience with every interaction.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products and educate members on options to meet financial goals.
• Meet or exceed sales and service goals through active engagement and relationship-building.
• Promote financial wellness by guiding members and offering resources.
