Job summary

Members Cooperative Credit Union in Cloquet, MN is seeking an Engagement Specialist (Teller) to be the friendly first point of contact for members. You will process a variety of transactions, educate members on financial options, and drive service and sales goals while upholding credit union values.

You will work 37-40 hours per week with a schedule Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays, earning $18–$19 per hour and enjoying benefits and growth opportunities in a community-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service/sales focused role.
• Previous financial experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels of financial understanding.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and conflicting priorities to provide outstanding member experience.
• Comfortable with continuous interactions with the public throughout the workday.
• Experience in, and comfortable with, deescalating issues with upset members.

You will also process transactions promptly and accurately while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and procedures. • Intermediate to advanced user level experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and conflicting priorities to provide outstanding member experience.
• Comfortable with continuous interactions with the public throughout the workday.
• Experience in, and comfortable with, deescalating issues with upset members.

Schedule

• Schedule will vary, Monday - Friday 7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. Occasional Saturday shift as needed, 8:45 a.m. -12:15 p.m.

Wage & Hour Details

• Full-time, 37-40 hours per week
• Pay is hourly
• Starting pay range: $18-$19/hr., pay commensurate with experience
